Monday Morning Senior Men

What was once a men’s only league now welcomes women as well. The league plays every Monday at 9:30am. The goal of the this league is to provide the best balance of competition, growth, and fellowship. Members apply on an individual basis. Players are assigned a playing position (lead, 2nd, vice or skip) based on their skill level and indicated preference. Some player re-positioning may be necessary in order to complete teams for each draw. This proven method enhances the social nature of the sport while structuring teams having similar skill levels for spirited play. Every 4-5 weeks the teams are changed to give everyone a chance to play with other members.

Monday Evening Men

This Men’s League plays every Monday at 6:30pm. The goal of the Mens night league is to provide the best balance of competition, growth, and fellowship in a men’s only league. Members apply on an individual basis. Players are assigned a playing position (lead, 2nd, vice or skip) based on their skill level and indicated preference. Some player re-positioning may be necessary in order to complete teams for each draw. This proven method enhances the social nature of the sport while structuring teams having similar skill levels for spirited play. The league welcomes those curlers who cannot commit to every Monday evening to sign up for the spare list.  Every 4-5 weeks the teams are changed to give everyone a chance to play with other members.

Tuesday Morning Ladies

The Ladies league plays eight end games on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 am. We encourage new and returning members to sign up individually for Tuesday curling.  Enjoy playing with different people, as the teams are changed for each of the four draws.  Join us at our annual Pot Luck Bonspiel usually held in January.

The Ladies league also hosts the Festival of Light Bonspiel every November.

Tuesday Evening Co-Ed

This league is for any new or returning curlers interested in social curling. Team entries are welcome, with individuals placed on a team if you don’t have one. New curlers are welcome and experienced curlers in the league are always available to help out newcomers.

Games are only 6 ends and curlers of all ages enjoy the camaraderie and social atmosphere in a mixed environment. Why not join in all the fun.

Wednesday Morning Ladies

The Ladies league plays eight end games on Wednesday mornings at 9:15 am. For those with a more competitive nature, sign up for the Skip’s Choice League on Wednesday mornings.  Individuals and team entries are welcome.  The season concludes at the end of March with Championship playoffs.

The Ladies league also hosts the Festival of Light Bonspiel ever November.

Wednesday Evening Brodie

The most competitive league in Niagara Falls takes place every Wednesday at 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Teams are placed in a ladder system and play a round robin within their group. Teams move up and down within the groups after each series  to ensure everyone reaches the competitive level they are best suited for. Men and women play together in four series, after which championship playoffs determine the final outcome. Individuals interested in joining but not part of a team will be added to openings wherever possible. There is also ample room for spares if you can’t commit to each week.

Social coed curling is available every Thursday morning at 9:15 am. The goal of the  league is to provide the best balance of competition, growth, and fellowship in a social, mixed environment. Men and women apply on an individual basis. Players are assigned a playing position (lead, 2nd, vice or skip) based on their skill level and indicated preference. Some player re-positioning may be necessary in order to complete teams for each draw. This proven method enhances the social nature of the sport while structuring teams having similar skill levels for spirited play. The league welcomes those curlers who cannot commit to every Thursday morning to sign up for the spare list.  Every 4-5 weeks the teams are changed to give everyone a chance to play with other members.

Thursday Evening Business Women's

This league is for any new or returning women who is interested in improving her skills and/or want to play in a more competitive atmosphere. This league is flighted and teams move up or down the divisions based upon performance. The season concludes with Championship Play-Offs.

Both individual and team entries are welcomed. For individuals, please contact the club as soon as possible so that the drawmaster can find you a team that is seeking a new player or to create a new team. If you are unable to commit to playing on a team, why not sign-up as a spare?

In addition, the Business Women’s league hosts an annual themed bonspiel, which takes place during the last weekend of February.

The Business Women’s league takes place on Thursday evenings at 6:15pm, playing 8-end games.

Friday Evening Doubles

The newest wrinkle of the Roarin’ Game involves teams of two competing against each other. Two rocks are positioned at the start of each end. Each team throws 5 rocks only. Games last 6 ends and are often complete in only an hour or so. Never tried it? Come on out Friday evenings and see what is happening for the newest Olympic sport.

Junior and Little Rocks

The Niagara Falls Curling Club is pleased to offer a Sunday afternoon program to young curlers between the ages of 7 and 20 years of age. Members of this section can participate in weekly instructional clinics, development under the  Ontario Curling Skills Awards Program, in-club games & bonspiels, inter-club games & bonspiels and competitive teams. We offer a friendly atmosphere for you to learn and improve your curling skills and to make new friends.  Little Rocks runs at 12:30pm – 1:30pm, with the Junior and Bantams running from 1:30pm tp 3:30pm
